It is estimated that around 135,000 children work in the Indian fireworks industry. Little children, as young as 7 yrs, are used to manufacture firecrackers. Long working hours, unhygienic surroundings & hazardous tasks are what young girls endure to earn Rs. 15 a day. An estimated 30 people have died in two separate accidents, and many more cases of death and injuries are not reported. The Government of India turns a blind eye to this exploitation. You shouldn’t. Take a stand against the exploitation of child labour...!!
